Sue West
Sue is an experienced leadership, career, and transitions coach who is committed to supporting executives and academics to have a greater impact and become more influential and inspiring in the way they lead.
She is also the Director of Flourish After Fifty, a specialist service supporting women over fifty to lead flourishing lives.
Sue is a certified global executive coach and member of the International Coaching Federation, a recognition of her commitment to best practice, deep knowledge, practical coaching experience, and ongoing professional development.
She is a member of the AICD and currently undertaking the Company Directors Certification.
Sue is passionate about living with purpose and generating impact for the people she works with, and the world in general.
She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Social Policy and throughout a diverse 30+ year career (including leadership roles in academia, public health, local government, and the not-for-profit sector), her commitment has always been to help people live better lives; whether this is influencing policy and improving systems, through ground-breaking child health research, or through her work in local communities.
After an extensive career in leadership roles, Sue’s coaching career was formalised in the middle of the pandemic, out of a desire to bring her passion for supporting people’s leadership and career development together with her well-honed mentoring and coaching skills.
In her spare time, Sue is the Board Chair for the Early Learning Association of Australia.
